Rob Battersby brings 20 years experience in industrial training and consulting to rhs. Rob’s expertise in designing, developing & training technical systems has gained an International reputation and has been adopted by the global giant Rio Tinto. Rob specialises in Industrial Training Valerie Reid looks after rhs corporate training and has a background of over 10 years in business training and marketing. Valerie runs training courses for the corporate needs of our clients and was appointed to run corporate courses throughout NZ and Australia for David Forman including the New Zealand Stock Exchange. Valerie is also appointed to run specialist seminars for Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC). December 2003, The Discovery Channel’s ‘Storm Chaser ‘ Geoff Mackley asked us to develop a project which he took to Ethiopia. We trained Geoff on how to film safely over a Volcano (because he wanted to!) and this became an episode of a new series. In 2004 rhs moved from the suburbs into central city offices in CBD Christchurch. In 2004 we worked with Abseil Access, training their team on Safe Entry into a Confined Space In 2005 rhs designed & delivered specialist systems and policies which were adopted by the parent giant of one of our clients and became the reference point for other Rio Tinto Global operations.
